Making a Bootable USB

HOW TO BUILD A BOOTABLE PEN DRIVE (USB FLASH DRIVE)
(XP/WINDOWS7/VISTA)
IMPORTANT THINGS:
1. A USB pen drive (flash drive) by a least of 4 gigabyte interplanetary.
2. Win XP installation disk.
3. Win 7 installation disk.

TECHNIQUE:
1. Attach the pen drive (USB flash drive) to computer and backup your data from pen drive to a safe area.

2. Download a Rar file from here WinsetupfromUSB.rar.
3. Unzip your downloaded file (WinsetupfromUSB.rar) in the desktop.

4. Open the folder then right click on WinsetupfromUSB.exe filr and choose Run as administrator option.

5. On one occasion the tool open, then click next option.
 

 



Too confirm that your pen drive (USB flash drive) is exposed in box. One time you complete with the over state tasks, click  button.

6. This will open window. In this window, you must allow the below mention option.
A. Establish that your pen drive is particular in the 1st box
B. Below Boot option selects 
C. Below .
D. Choose 


At last click button to see a note from this tool. Click OK on the following screen too.


7. Wait for a few minutes till you get a command prompt note saying "Operation Completed"
8. Exit from tool.

9. Put in your XP installation CD or DVD into the CD/DVD drive.
10. Copy your XP installation disk, then past in your local drive.
 

11. In the  click browse next to windows 2000/XP/2003 Source box to browse to the XP installation files folder.

12. Click Go and stay a few minutes to see the next screes: Click Ok.



13. Now put in your windows7 DVD into the DVD drive and copy windows7 installation disk then past in your local drive.



14. Choose Vista /7 setup/PE/RecoveryISO option.

15. Browse to the windows7 installation files folder.

16. Finally click Go button (Please note that this process may take hours). Do not close the application in you see "Not Responding " message in the title bar.

17. Stay for the done not previous to you click the Exit.


18. Now it is time to download one minor file named Boot files from here.
19. Unzip your downloaded file.



20. Copy menu.lst and winsetup.lst files and past to your USB flash drive and restore the old files with new ones. Click copy and replace option when you are provoked with the copy file message.

21. Your multi boot USB flash drive is ready to use. Restart your computer and  start installing XP or windows7 from the pen drive (USB flash drive)
Note: When you want to setup windows xp in the boot screen, you will see tow option:
         1. First part of windows XP setup
         2. Second part of windows XP setup
You must choose the  First part of windows XP setup, but on the next restarts you select  Second part of windows XP setup.
